Some offerings are written on the menu. Others must be found.

THE DOOR WILL NOT REMAIN OPEN FOREVER

Equivalent Exchange is a limited hospitality residency hidden inside the downstairs speakeasy at Roxy on Broadway.

Part cocktail bar, part ritual coffeehouse, and part eternal night market, the Exchange brings together immersive drinks, local makers, small classes, unusual gatherings, and secrets for those who choose to look more closely.

Come for a drink. Stay for the market. Follow the symbols. See what the Exchange asks of you.

THE OPENING COLLECTION

The opening menu will feature a focused series of alcoholic cocktails, alcohol-free creations, and ritual coffee and tea.

The collection will change throughout the residency.

What is available during your first visit may not remain when you return.

Each collection is crafted specifically for the residency and will evolve throughout the season.

The Opening Collection brings together a small selection of signature cocktails, thoughtfully developed alcohol-free creations, ritual coffee and tea experiences, and a carefully curated market featuring local artists and makers whose work reflects the spirit of the Exchange.

Not every offering is immediately revealed. Throughout the space, attentive guests may discover hidden pours, quiet details, and small surprises that are meant to be found rather than announced. Those who return may find that the Exchange has changed in ways both expected and unexpected.

As new collections emerge, familiar favorites may give way to new discoveries, ensuring that every visit offers something a little different.

RESERVE YOUR PLACE

Walk-ins will be welcomed whenever space allows.

Reservations are recommended for evening service, celebrations, small groups, and guests visiting for a specific date.

A reservation secures a table for a defined seating period. Some reservation types may include a prepaid drink, beverage credit, or special offering.

All inclusions, prices, cancellation terms, and seating details will be shown clearly before booking.

Reservations are encouraged, particularly for weekends, larger groups, or anyone hoping to experience a specific ritual, class, or menu collection during the residency.

CLASSES, RITUALS, AND GATHERINGS

Some parts of the Exchange can only be experienced at certain times.

The Exchange is never quite the same from one week to the next.

As the residency unfolds, new gatherings will appear alongside familiar favorites. You may find guided tastings, ritual coffee and tea experiences, maker workshops, artist demonstrations, collaborative evenings, or seasonal celebrations, each designed to encourage curiosity, conversation, and shared discovery.

Each gathering is announced individually, and many are offered only once during the residency.

THE NIGHT MARKET

The market belongs to artists, makers, collectors, and people who still believe objects can carry stories.

Each collection will be curated to feel at home inside the world of Equivalent Exchange.
